If you're wondering how they're holding up after all that time, well, they've been with me through four moves, three roommates, and now are in heavy use by a family of six. They are not rusted. They are not stained. They are not chipped, bent, or dulled -- and I'm not one to win any housekeeping awards; my dishes do not, sadly, get washed every night without fail, so there've been many times when the knives sat overnight with food on them. A little hot water and a scrubbie (nylon, not steel wool or anything) has never failed to do the trick. My family had, over the years, accumulated a drawer-full of various mismatched knives, some good and some not so good. These Ginsu knives have replaced all of them, even my Dad's old familiar ones. It may not be the best purchase I ever made, but right now, I can't think of one that surpasses it. | |||

The knives sliced through the tomatoes, onions, green peppers, jalepenos so easily, I was done in no time. I buy boneless, skinless, chicken breasts in bulk from Samsung club and they are pretty big breasts, so I slice them in half, and the chicken slices so easy with these knives, its almost effortless.
