She has used them alot and has stated that she's going to never return to "regular" knives once more. She even takes the knives in a very canvas case when she has to do knife work outside the house. I took the recommendation of another reviewer and purchased this set with the Santoku knife and will not be happier. One word of recommendation for those that aren't acquainted with using knives this sharp--please purchase a video on a way to use them properly otherwise you can find yourself cutting yourself over once. | |||

Creque (WI) This review is from: Victorinox 8-Piece Knife Block Set (Kitchen) We received these knives for our wedding (purchased from Amazon). additionally added the seven in Santoku and half dozen in Chefs knife (its my favorite and therefore the one i take advantage of the most), that work into the block. i do not acumen I cooked before these knives. THe handles are durable and supply a decent grip, the sting of the blades is incredibly sensible and therefore the slicing ability is wonderful. the primary time I cut an onion with them was pure joy!! sadly the scizzors had some water where they open and it rusted somewhat and grasp they're very onerous to open. We found on you-tube a way to properly use the steel (which technically is not a sharpener, its to stay the perimeters in sensible condition). I highly, highly advocate these knives if you're longing for top quality at a low/moderate value. we tend to loved them such a lot we tend to got many individual knives for our oldsters too. The steak knives are terribly nice. | |||
